Holiday Inn | avid Mt. Juliet is seeking a skilled and attentive server to join our banquet team. As a banquet server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests at special events, ensuring their experience is memorable and enjoyable. This position will be on an on-call and as needed basis.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
Clear plates and utensils, and maintain a clean and organized dining area
Anticipate and meet the needs of guests, including refilling drinks and providing additional amenities
Work collaboratively with other servers, banquet captains, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
Set up and service all assigned banquet functions
Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure efficient service
Read and understand the Banquet Event Order and menu

Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry, preferably as a server
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
Must demonstrate good math and communication skills
Must be able to lift 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Position requires standing, bending, and walking the entire workday
Valid TN ABC card or ability to obtain one within the scheduled time frame
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
